Wrinkles inscribe themselves into our skin as traces of time. At a time when the ageing process is tricked out with a Botox injection at lunchtime or a short weekend trip for cosmetic surgery, this work is a plea to look at our wrinkles with self-confidence instead of doing violence to them - and therefore to ourselves - with needles and scalpels.

Sure, repairing is trendy. But the aim here is precisely not to repair.
